MaziTake the inspection

STEP TWO

One week inside your business. Every leak costed.

The Inspection tells you roughly where your week goes. The Roadmap puts numbers on it, in writing, and tells you what to do in what order.

€6,500 · ONE WEEK · CREDITED IN FULL AGAINST YOUR FIRST BUILD

What actually happens

Before — half a day

I read what you already have. Your P&L shape, your system list, your org chart, whatever reporting exists. Sent over in advance so we don't spend day one on background.

Days one and two — on site

I'm in the business with you. Not in a boardroom: on the floor, in the office, at the delivery door, wherever the work happens. I talk to the people doing it, not just the people managing it — that's where the actual process lives, and it's usually not the one in the manual.

Day three — the paperwork pile

Every form, log, spreadsheet and WhatsApp group that carries real information. I follow each one from where it starts to where it ends up, and count the hands it passes through.

Day four — the numbers

I put a monthly cost on each leak. Hours at your actual labour rate, error and waste cost, and where relevant the cost of decisions made late or on bad data.

Day five — the plan

I write it up and walk you through it.

What you get

A written document, in plain English, that contains:

  • Every leak I found, ranked by what it costs you a month — not by how interesting it is to fix.

  • What to do about each one: build it, buy it, change the process, or leave it alone. “Leave it alone” appears more often than you’d expect from someone who sells the building.

  • What each option costs, in real numbers — mine and other people’s.

  • The order to do them in, and why. Usually not the order you’d guess, because the first one has to fund the confidence for the second.

  • What I’d ignore entirely, and why. This is often the most valuable page.

  • How you’d know it worked — the specific number that should move, and by when.

It’s yours to keep, whoever you build it with. If you take it to your own developer or an agency down the road, that’s a perfectly good outcome — you’ll be commissioning from a specification instead of a hunch, which is most of the value.

THE GUARANTEE

If the Roadmap doesn’t identify at least three times its fee in recoverable annual cost, you don’t pay for it.

Recoverable cost means annualised labour hours, error or waste cost, or revenue leakage that we can both identify and agree in writing on the final day. Not projected upside, not efficiency in principle — money currently leaving the business that we can point at.

I’ve never yet spent a week in an operations-heavy business and not found it. But you shouldn’t have to take that on trust from someone you’ve met once.

The fee comes off the build

If we build together, the €6,500 is credited in full against your first invoice. Build together and the diagnosis was free.

If we don’t, you’ve bought a costed technology plan for €6,500 — which is less than most consultancies charge for the meeting where they explain their process.

Is it worth it for you?

IT USUALLY IS IF

You run more than six sites or a genuinely operations-heavy single site; someone in your business spends real hours moving numbers between systems; you’ve been meaning to “sort the reporting out” for more than a year; or you’ve been quoted for a platform and can’t tell whether the price is sane.

IT USUALLY ISN’T IF

You’re a single site with under ten staff — the Inspection plus a conversation will get you most of the way, and I’ll tell you so; you already have an internal technology team, in which case you need capacity rather than diagnosis; or you know exactly what you want built, in which case skip this and let’s just scope the build.

I’d rather talk you out of this on a call than take the fee and tell you in week one.

FOUNDING CLIENT PRICING

Mazi is new, and the first clients carry more risk than the ones who come after. So the first three get the Roadmap at €2,000 instead of €6,500.

In exchange I ask for three things: permission to name you and what we did, one honest quote once you’ve seen the result, and two introductions to operators you rate.

Two of the three places are still open.

Not ready for a week of someone’s time?

Start with the Inspection. Ten questions, three minutes, free, and it’ll tell you whether there’s anything here worth a conversation.
